Mark Shapiro, Laika Studio

His visit was awesome. His content was great, the examples that he brought and the things that he talked about were incredible and informative. I loved every minute of it and am extremely grateful that he took the time out of his schedule to come talk to us. I learned a lot of things, one of the things that really left a lasting impression, was his explanation of the CGI in Avengers. Scenes that look incredibly real, turn out to be animation. The other animation that was really cool was the stop motion. WHen I see movies like that I now take the time to appreciate how much time and effort was put into the film. I loved the explanation of how the hair, and water was moved, it was truly awesome and I can't wait until we go visit Laika Studios. I'm excited.
